Right. Billy's gaze flicks away with a shy short of guilt, and he nods, catching his mother's hand to offer a brief squeeze as they make their way inside.

He owes her a better explanation for...ALL of this. Tommy, and Teddy, and...the events of the last few days, really. But for now he's just grateful she knows what they need in this moment.
