Stroking his thumb over the back of Tommy's hand, Billy can feel Tommy relax, and feels his own heart return to something closer to what's normal for him.

He nods easily, cheeks a bit flush from Tommy's admission.

"Yeah, of course. So long as you don't mind some nerdy tees," he teases lightly, releasing his hand to stand and gather the pita and hummus. "Thanks," he adds belatedly, flashing his parents a grateful smile for their understanding.
