CONTACT METHOD:

THREAD-JACKING: Welcome without hesitation
FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: Totally cool, especially from canon-mates. Tommy WILL be sad when he finds out there are no comics specifically about him.
BACKTAGGING: Into Infinity. Always welcome.
AVOIDED TOPICS: None that I can think of.
PREFERRED GENDER PRONOUN: She/Her
IC CHARACTERISTICS
CURRENT CANON POINT:Two/three days after end of Young Avengers Volume 2 (Meaning Jan 3rd, 2014) post Empyre: Aftermath Avengers
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: 5'8" with a well muscled runner's body. He has green eyes, and always has silver goggles with orange lenses on his person somewhere. Really, what sticks out most is the pure white hair, completely natural. Oh, and the familiarity of his face if you've run into his twin, Billy Kaplan, because they are identical except for coloration and hair style.
DEMEANOR: Sarcastic, flippant, fun-loving, and distant. Tommy's definitely mercurial, changing with his moods, and those change fast given the guy is able to think at the picosecond level.
ABILITIES:
Superhuman Speed: Normally capable of running in excess of Mach 4, but full upper limits hasn't been tested. As part of his mutation Tommy's body is also suited to handling these speeds, with superhuman agility, reflexes, stamina, and durability. This last one is almost exclusively durability in the face of the forces he places his body under and the friction it produces, so stronger legs and arms to handle how hard he hits the ground if he falls at top speeds.
This power, though, is highly dampened here by the simple fact of resources. Tommy needs more food than most people to maintain this sort of ability, and so must carefully manage use of this ability at this time.
Superhuman Strength: As an additional part of his mutation, Tommy can easily lift 800 pounds with his arms, and over a ton with his legs.
Accelerated Perception: To keep up with the physical aspects of his body, Tommy's brain also runs faster. This results in him able to perceive, process, and even think at a higher subjective rate than humans. At higher speeds five minutes can feel like weeks to him.
Molecular Acceleration: Tommy can vibrate himself enough to, with care, move through solid objects. In addtion, he used to be able to generate vibrations from his hands outwards, vibrating molecules in his target enough to cause explosions. Now his powers here seem to be highly dampened, meaning Tommy can maybe make things crack a little, but explosions? Not happening.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Perfectly healthy at the moment. If you can sense these things, let me know if you want a current update. As a general note, all of Tommy's body runs fast. His resting heartrate exceeds the healthy zone for humans, his breathing is faster as well.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: The concept of experimenting on people, abuse of children, ageism.
OTHER: Tommy is from Marvel Comics and as such may have reactions to characters from MCU that won't always line up with how the characters are portrayed in the MCU.
IC PERMISSIONS
MENTAL: Yeah, have at it. As a warning, Tommy thinks VERY fast. Processes information at speeds needed for someone running several times the speed of sound. He can think at the picosecond level, which is a trillionth of a second. Doesn't often, but if he knows you're a telepath, he might accelerate his thoughts to try and give you a headache or put you off of it.
MIMICRY: Go for it. He'll applaud you if you can manage to pull off his particular levels of 'don't give a fuck' and 'give all the fucks'.
VIOLENCE: Go for it. Just don't kill him. Tommy does have Super-Strength and Super Speed and Agility so hitting him could be difficult unless you manage to distract him.
MAGIC: Please. Tommy is always out of sorts when magic is around, given his twin and his mother.
DEBATE: Go for it. Tommy is not always adult enough to handle debating. Sorry about that.
OTHER / NOTES: Do NOT assume physical contact with Tommy. He moves fast enough to dodge just about anything not from another speedster or without some other sort of restraint first. I ask that you let your characters make motions toward contact and let Tommy decide whether he's going to accept it or not.
