Mary complained enough about carrying Tommy and how ungrateful he was that he would highly doubt he had been given up for adoption.
"Don’t know," Tommy shrugs. "No chance your folks are named Frank and Mary and you’re just in some crazy universe where they are smart and considerate and like kids enough to have three and not hit any of them?"
Because he can’t deny how it felt to touch Billy. He couldn’t explain why he knew it, but he did. They are whole together.
